Improving Smiles with Dental Technology
Technology plays a vital role in the world of modern dentistry. Our doctors and staff at Keith + Associates are continuously staying up to date with dental technology to provide our patients with the best care possible. Not only do we provide state-of-the-art equipment, but our team has the knowledge and expertise of how to properly use that equipment. In addition, our latest technology can provide each patient and their families with proper oral health and accurate results. Our team is able to screen for potential diseases, make detailed records, show patients the condition of their oral health, and preform dental procedures with greater accuracy, comfort and efficiency! We offer a variety of treatments featuring advanced technology, including:
Laser treatments are often much quicker and more economical than traditional dental
procedures and offer many benefits. Our doctors use the Biolase Epic X Laser, a cutting-edge, high-quality diode laser for gum disease treatment, teeth whitening, and pain relief. It also makes procedures easier, faster, less invasive and painless.
The Biolase Epic X laser treatment is a safe and efficient method for managing mild to moderate gum disease, controlling the bacteria in your mouth to prevent the development of gum disease and bring gums back to good health. If you’re looking to whiten your teeth and brighten your smile, this treatment is the perfect solution! Our dental team will utilize the laser to dramatically change the shade of your teeth to your liking. The best part is it only takes about 20 minutes! Biolase can also offer pain relief and promotes healing for suffers of cold sores, canker sores, TMJ and other oral pain.
Guided Implant Surgery
At Keith + Associates Dentistry, our patients’ safety and satisfaction is important to us. That is why we use state of the art dental technology to preform safe and precise implant surgery. Our dentists use the X-Guide, an advanced 3D navigational system that allows us to place dental implants with precision and control. Think of it as a GPS for your mouth!
X-Guide allows us to accurately view the position, angle, and depth of our tools during surgery and allows us to make necessary adjustments. In addition to providing turn-by-turn guidance during surgery, this imaging tool provides a 360-degree anatomical view of your jaw and teeth, warning us if our tools are too close to nerves or other sensitive areas. The X-Guide saves times, improves accuracy, reduces costs, requires minimal incisions, and in some cases, we can provide an implant-supported restoration on the same day as surgery.
Our dentists at Keith + Associates use CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic) to design and engineer dental restorations on-site in our office. These restorations can repair tooth damage caused by decay, injury, or disease. We use CEREC to fabricate crowns, veneers, dental implants, inlays and onlays. CEREC technology has revolutionized ceramic restorations for patients so that there is no longer a wait between preparing the restoration and finally receiving the finished product.
We can fabricate, bond, polish and install all in one visit! We achieve this by using CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) and CEREC technology for enhanced precision, comfort, and aesthetics. CEREC uses 3D imaging software to create detailed, customized impressions of your teeth. This mimics the appearance and feel of real teeth! Our goal is to help you attain your best smile and optimal oral health. Whether you have a missing tooth or decayed and damaged teeth, our CEREC same-day crowns can fully restore your smile in only one appointment at our dental office.
At Keith + Associates we want to make sure we are providing you with the most accurate treatment plan for your oral health goals. If you have any questions or want to schedule an appointment, give our office a call at 913-384-0044 and we will be happy to help!
