Important Information Regarding COVID-19

The New Office Experience

To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, we have revised the way our office visit process will work. We ask patients to come by themselves when possible, aside from minors and caretakers. This will help limit exposure and keep people in our waiting room to a minimum.

Upon arrival, you will be directed to our temperature taking table. We have numbers listed on the floor, 6 feet apart, that serve as your place in line. Should you have a temperature over 100.4, we will ask you leave and contact your primary care physician for further guidance.

We are now able to send patient update paperwork directly to patients’ devices though text message, email, or the app Modento- no need for our Ipads or paper/pens. The Modento app is available on the app store and can be used to fill out paperwork before even coming into the office.

Once you are in the office, the app can be used to check you in. When you are called back for your treatment, we ask you rinse with a cleansing mouthwash and swish for 30 seconds. Our office will be using materials to limit aerosol spread during appointments. If a small balance is due after the appointment, we will send a link (text message, email, or app Modento) to pay the portion of the bill so there is no need to stop up front. If there is a question about insurance, our front desk will be happy to help. We ask the patient and staff member use social distancing when discussing questions.

Please call us should you have any signs of sickness (including but not limited to COVID-19 symptoms). Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during these times!

Symptoms of coronavirus are reported as flu-like, with varying degrees of severity. While we do not know everything about this virus to date, individuals who are elderly and/or immunocompromised appear to be the most at risk of a severe infection.
