The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. The implants are tiny titanium posts which are placed into the jaw bone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. In addition, dental implants can help preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration which occurs when teeth are missing.
Dental implants are changing the way people live! With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life.
If, like many others, you feel implant dentistry is the choice for you, we ask that you undergo a complimentary dental/radiographic examination and health history. During these consultation visits, your specific needs and considerations will be addressed by our doctors. We will then consult with your dentist for the placement of the implant. Implants are really a team process between our doctors, your dentist and you. Your questions and concerns are important to us and our team will work with you very closely to help make your procedure a success.
Dental Implant Procedure
Dental implants are metal anchors, which act as tooth root substitutes. They are surgically placed into the jaw bone. Small posts are then attached to the implant, which protrude through the gums. These posts provide stable anchors for artificial replacement teeth.
For most patients, the placement of dental implants involves two surgical procedures. First, implants are placed within your jaw bone. For the first three to six months following surgery, the implants are beneath the surface of the gums, gradually bonding with the jaw bone. You should be able to wear a temporary. At the same time, in conjunction with our dental lab we will design the final crown, bridgework or denture, which will ultimately improve both function and aesthetics.
After the implant has bonded to the jaw bone, the second phase begins. Your dentist will uncover the implants and attach a small healing collar. Our doctors can then start making your new teeth. An impression must be taken. Then posts or attachments can be connected to the implants. The replacement teeth are then made over the posts or attachments.
The entire procedure usually takes six to eight months, but you will have a temporary tooth throughout the process. Most patients do not experience any disruption in their daily life nor do they have an unpleasing hole in their smile.
Dr. Jonathan was great! He seems a very thoughtful capable addition to your practice. He listened, researched my... chart, and took swift action. Because I had so many questions, my cleaning got interrupted and wasn’t as thorough as usual. Only half my mouth got cleaned in the process. I was a late in the day appointment too. 🤷🏻♂️read more
Today was my 6monthly appointment with Paige/Hygenist and I will have repeat appointments with her for the future... because she does such a great job. She’s very thoughtful and considerate but most importantly, she was entirely thorough and made my visit today a pleasant one! Not an easy task when we all know the Dentist as a destination typically, gives us concerns for the outcome! I also met Dr.Jonathon for the first time and he was extremely pleasant and helpful with thoughts on future options for dental care ~ so thank you to him. I rate today’s visit 5 stars.read more

I know several people who go here and love it, so I finally made an appointment for myself. I just wish I'd done it... sooner - so impressed by my experience there! Making an appointment online was easy, I hadn't even sat down yet in the waiting room when the hygienist came to get me, all of their staff was wonderful and the equipment was very high tech. I've had a lot of dental work done, but they had things I'd never seen before. I can't say enough good things about them!read more

Best dentist I've ever gone to. My teeth have never been taken care of so well so much so that I don't mind at all... driving 20 min to get to my appointments. For the first time since I started going to the dentist, I have not had to have a cavity filled and have not had any pain from sensitivity. Great for young children as well!!read more
